I want to buy a set of 6 60 lb injectors that will fit a Ford. Any leads on where I can buy or find cheap injectors would also be very helpful. Thanks

Are these the yellow OEM 5.0 ones? I have some of those

Everywhere that I am looking says that yellow/orange injectors are 19 lb injectors. I am looking for 60 lb injectors.

FWIW, if you find some 32lb'ers with multi hole tips, you can cut the tip off and double the flow. I did that for our challenge car a decade ago.

Just the tip?

I don't think any Fords use 60# injectors.

What would that come on, a boosted 10L V8 with a 20,000# GVW?

Do you have any pictures on how to do that? Did it work well?

Actually, that should be the fat dark blue 36# injectors. Cut the tip off and they flow 77# worth of fuel. Just don't expect any real pattern though, unless it's fire hose. Used to have to use these back in the day when there wasn't any options for upgrading injectors.

What about drilling the holes in the multi hole tips larger? Should flow more and have the spray pattern not be as bad as just cutting them off.

Sorry about walking away so long ago.

yes, it works, like Ranger said. The spray patter is just like older injectors that just have an pintle. For most here, that's not actually a big deal. I did it for our challenge car back in 2002, and we needed it as the injector drivers for a TECII isn't that great.

I got the tip from some injector people at work. They do it for hot rod reasons.

Can you drill the tip? I suppose, but that would be some pretty amazing drilling.

One has to use the right injectors- since I have easy selections of garbage parts, I took some other injectors and cut the tips off- where the desing is a ball onto the multi hole plate. I've got some other mini injectors that are more recent that I've planned on cutting up, but haven't done it.

I suppose if it warms up this weekend, I can dig them out and take some pictures.

That would be great, if it's not too much trouble.
