Project ToplesS-10 came with a broken radio dating to the 80s.
As it will eventually have no roof, I seek the crappiest working radio I can find.
Something analog would be best, presets are nice.
I know you hoarders have tons of these on the shelf.
Ideally, the budget is $15 shipped.
Thank you.
I might have one for you. Co-worker gave it to me to put in my retro-Vulva. I'll take some pictures of it tonight for ya. Not sure if it works tho...
Does it need to be dual-knob? If not, I think I have an old Volvo factory unit with the separate in-dash CD player.
Yep. Dual dials, cassette tape player.
Yes, I've got a few on the shelf. I'll send pics also in case you don't buy the Duke's.
I have the Clarion unit out of my 87 RX7 GXL I would donate for shipping. It's a dual-DIN unit though.

the volvo ones require a seperate amp that they placed under the steering wheel... and more then likely also need a security code to get it to work... when powered back on
er... also...
if you have a smart phone or mp3 player of some sort you could always go with something like this... it's an EQ with intigrated amp... run a line in to your phone and you've got a nice cheap "system"

@donalson: the "just an amp" idea isn't working, because I specifically want FM radio, and I'm told the FM radios in .mp3 players won't work worth squat in a moving vehicle.
@Dave E: Thanks, but that's a mighty big unit (that's what she said)
@Duke: that might be just the ticket. Could you snap a pic for me?
You might want to look at a boat scrapyard for a radio meant to get wet and be bolted down.
