My bed "kinda" collapsed when I took it off, not an easy thing to find but I'd like to get a decent long 81-93 dodge bed. My truck is a 91 which would be optimal but I can add the trim molding studs later on if needed.
I'm in Findlay Ohio and I'm willing to travel around 300 miles for a good one at a decent price. Thanks!

Find a shop that installs custom truck beds. They usually have a bunch of takeoff stockers for sale in the back.
At this point it's gonna be tough to find one that route. Around here its guys who bring truckloads of southern parts and 2wd 1/2 ton trucks (dont seem to rust as bad). I've contemplated buying a complete truck and parting it out to get what I need.

If you are on FB, there has been a guy trying to sell on it my Dodge Truck and Ramcharger Archive group.
Hmm, not on fb; where is he and what's he want?

Dang, good deal! He has decided to keep it or trade for a 6' bed. I think he realized he was under market value for a mostly rust free bed.

He paid less than that for it just a couple months ago. Did you talk to him? He is constantly changing his mind on what he is doing with that truck.
I talked to him, he is wishy washy and ended by saying maybe he would sell the whole truck.
I'm going to check one out Saturday, hopefully a good one....

Yeah. I'm about to delete him from the group. He has posted the truck, or parts of it, at least 30 times in the last 3 months. In every possible configuration. I thought he would actually sell if someone was interested, but I guess not.
Sorry about that.
If you don't come up with anything else I have several my dad turned into trailers and I could probably drop one off when I get over to Pat's. I'll snag some pictures if you are interested.
Absolutely. The trailers I've looked at are usually in better shape which is a plus...
Edit: if you want to send pics it's vdblyou at yahoo dot com.
Still looking, trucks been sitting due to unusefullness ....

Did you snag that from a guy here in Indiana who had the cab as well?
Yup, between Alexandria and Anderson. Dude has some awesome stuff, and is putting an old cab over fire truck on the chassis and engine. Really really cool.

You were within 10min of my place.....lol
And yea, Newby is an interesting guy. When I saw him post that, I remembered seeing this thread, but couldn't find it and couldn't remember who posted it. Glad you got it though, these things are next to unobtanium up here.
