Horizon is the game for the "head cases"/wreckers from FM4. Its a bit too easy and otherwise kinda sucks. The rally expansion was fun, but no multiplayer on it. 
I view it as FM4 Arcade mode.....

It was still "Meh" The copilot is terrible at giving directions. 
Thanks for reminding me I never played the single player on FM4 though.....day one I went straight to online.

FWIW, I found the single player way, way more entertaining. The career was the most innovative of any racing game I've had, and I've had LOTS of them. It jumps from track to track and gives you racing options based on your garage and current car. Don't like the option? Back out, switch cars, and go back in. The Top Gear challenges in particular were equally hilarious and challenging (once you got the fastest ones).
Dammit now I want to go play it again...

I never had issues on FM4 after I discovered the "Change who is being voted out of the lobby" glitch. Most of us had fantastically clean races that could have epic finishes within the thousandths.

I was ignoring this, but my son has been talking about an Xbox nonstop since school got out for Christmas break. We had a deposit on an Xbox1 but the funds weren't there to close the deal. I had planned on splitting the cost of a new 360 or PS3 with him as a joint Bday present but since this is still available (for now) I'll talk with him and will let you know by the first of next week.
1/2 of my kid's friends have a PS3 and the other 1/2 have Xbox. He's having a hard time deciding which way to go since all he really wants to do is play Minecraft with them online. I'm going to pass on this excellent deal and probably hate myself later.
