1996 BMW 318is VIN WBABE7323TEY20075 $SOLD
A bit rusty and needs some work, but it has several modifications that would make it a great track beater. Sounds about as good as the 4 cylinder can, and pulls hard enough. Would make a great rallycross car with stock springs, or keep it low and run on tarmac. Drives and doesn't need to be trailered, up to your discretion.
Modifications and "features":
-No ABS or AC.
-Corbeau Seat w/ bracket, extra Corbeau seat w/ bracket can be sold for extra $200
-Stainless steel exhaust, resonator and Borla muffler
-Stainless exhaust header
-Lightened flywheel and recently replaced clutch
-Hawk pads, not sure on compound, very aggressive
-Stainless brake lines front/rear
-Electric cooling fan
-Bilstein shocks and lowering springs
-Wheels/Tires Borbet 16" Wheels w/ Hanook Ventus RS3 (some tread left) BMW 15" wheels w/ General Altimax Arctic (decent tread, some leak)
-Extra Parts: Megan Racing adjustable upper control arms, ECU, coil pack and wires, spare tire
-May have LSD, not sure
Issues:
-Cold starts need throttle applied to keep running, runs rough until fully warm. Replaced the throttle body and IAC and it didn't improve. Runs fine when fully warm.
-Oil leak @ oil filter housing; common problem, will include new filter and gaskets to fix
-Battery drain; installed cut-off switch to address
-Windshield cracked
