I would buy the crap out of that and start autocrossing again.

I've owned and autocrossed an old Formula Vee before. Don't know that I'd pay $750 for an engineless one with no wheels. 

Sorry Woody, but I might be able to help with a 2.0 914 engine.

FWIW, the seller is well known in local Formula Vee circles as a owner, driver, and engine builder. He has raced forever at Waterford Hills.

Stick the engine that 914Driver can hook you up with in there, convert to disk brakes and get some proper wide(r) tires, sorted.

That's exactly what I would do, but Michigan is a long way from Connecticut, especially in the winter.

Psshh.  I went from NY to Detroit & back in <24 hours.  Easy with the right motivation.

There are a LOT of enablers here who live less than 20 min from the seller who can help.  

Too bad it's missing the engine (the expensive part). Still e-mailed anyway. Figure someone here can help me destroy a marriage.
