This is in the backyard of GRM and Classic Motorsport Headquarters. I think someone with authority needs to put eyes on these.

Saab Sonett Collection

Seller said: I have 3 Saab sonett, all with titles. a 1971 ,1972,and a 1974. All three cars have been in a warehouse for the past 30 years and need to be woken up accordingly. They were in the middle of some sort of cosmetic / mechanical freshening up / restoration when the previous owner fell ill and passed away. All 3 Cars are pretty much rust free. Included is all materials to put the Interiors back together, reupholstered seat panels, plenty of spare parts. For those not familiar with the Saab sonett it was a quirky little sports car made in the late sixties and early seventies. Mostly imported to the United States however very low production numbers and examples are increasing in value. These little 1700 pound cars are powered by a very tunable Ford V4 engine coupled to a four-speed transaxle and front-wheel drive, they are a fun little car. They are dusty and dirty from sitting for years. I am deliberately showing this to represent the cars accurately. They will clean up quite nice. Price is per car, interiors, a copy of service manual and a bunch of extras to be discussed at purchase. Wheel covers as well. Many other parts available as well.

I have always like those for no good reason. Someone needs to buy all three for 3500 out the door!

The good thing about these is rust free floor pans. If they really are.

Sometimes I'm really glad I don't have the time and money to do something impulsively stupid like buy these. This is not one of those times.

This car has always struck me as a 98%er. Saab got 98% right, and then made it fwd... That transaxle could've went to the rear for some mr or RRwd action. Or even FR. Somebody needs to convert one to rwd Saab spec. I know it can be done.
