A buddy of mine just sent me a link to this 03 Jaguar S-Type R for the low price of $2500. Seems like the only thing wrong is the center console, nav, climate control has stopped working. I guess its been on there for a while so they may be more prone to having the price talked down. Hard to beat ~400 hp for $2500.

Swap donor. A clean shell with decent interior, parted, could probably recoup most of that $2500...
Owners of these don't fix them. Used parts are hard to sell.
Dealer serviced or traded in on a new Jag.
I actually may know how to fix the screen. It probibly is the navigation DVD reader unit in the trunk. They should see if they can eject the disk. If not that is most likely the problem.
Swap the drivetrain into a Lincoln LS?
I kind of desperately want this.
