It's not a scam, unless he's been running it for months. Had a way more detailed ad up before with a much higher price. No one was biting I suppose.
I can't remember exactly what the computer was - he a full description in the detailed ad - some kind of JDM police computer I think?

I like how you focused on the 5th gear popout instead of the blown rear brake line? Seems a bit more sketchy to me. The seller says the sale includes a new trans and some spares.

That's a CB radio. It looks like he has tried to set it up as a rally car, Fast and Furious wannabe. The VIN is diesel, get it? .
Always liked these since new. Heck I'll put it on my watch list. I wonder if he wants to straight up trade for an SVTf.

It also has the worlds smallest "Fujiwara Tofu Shop" decal on the side. Quite a hodge-podge.
Here's an article on that police computer
Looks pretty cool, and that model is a 386 with 4MB of RAM!
I had one of these. Bought it brand new in '87.
It was an awesome car. Mine died by T-bone in late 1990 with just about 90k on the clock -had been flawless. This is the golden age for Nissan.

This is my car and i still have it if anyone is interested.

For those that are curious the computer is a Motorola MDT 91000 . It's a data terminal from a police cruiser from the eighties and it does work. It doesn't do much other than look cool but I've seen people modify them to run a basic version of windows. The only reason that I'm selling it for so cheap is because I have my eye on a 86 Toyota lite Ace Van and need the money quickly.

Included with the car is another block, complete head, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, carburetor, gearbox, the original alloy wheels, the wheels that are on it in the picture, a set of steelies, spare bcm and several boxes of spare gaskets, panel trim pieces, handles, screws and bolts etc
