here, for all you guys who whine about not being able to get LS engines cheap and think those of us that do are sorcerers or liars. i don't need it right now as i've got a metric buttload of LS projects going on and at this point would rather buy new wheels for my impala than another engine for future use.
$600 2000 6.0 with harness and computer. i believe 2000 is iron heads(which flow the same as the aluminum ones, but the engine is heavier). it should have the longer crank flange and mount to any old pre-LS chevy transmission without adapting. if you are replacing a normal old small block no weight gain, or if you want to drop a whole bunch of weight aluminum cathedral port heads are cheap as long as they're not 243/799 castings.

Because i put an all aluminum LS1 in it tuesday. The Datsun has a 5.3, this year's car is getting a 4.8 and i have a 6.0 for the $2018 car. I have a feeling I'm going to be labeled "that ls swap guy" at the challenge.

"Swap king" sounds like something Popeye would say.
If that does have iron heads then there are some circle track guys who'd pay a fortune for them. Some places wrote anti-LS rules that just say "must have production iron heads and block". (The really good ones say "steel heads and block") Of course it'd only be good until the rules got changed again, but that's the case for everything.
