That must have been the most popular color combo for that year. My ex had a sedan with the bench seat. She was 5'2" and I'm 6'4". It was a bit uncomfortable when she was driving.
Oh man. K- cars. I don't think a more flexible, noodly chassis has ever been manufactured. I still want one for some weird reason though. But not quite enough to drive to Texas and get it.

You should take a ride in my first-year k-car, then! Someone decided it didn't need the roof for rigidity, and then somebody else decided to lower it on stiffer springs! Clearly the height of foolishness.
A 1985 Reliant sedan was my first car. It was a hand me down and had been the first car of two other teens at that point both of which put it in serious accidents but it kept coming back for more. I have many fond memories of it. I finally totaled it (not my fault! Says the 16 year old in me) at about 175k miles. No major repairs other than body work.
Here is my Aries K wagon. I also have an '88 T&C wagon. They are great little haulers that you don't see every day.
