The MSPNP Pro for the '01-'05 Miata is now in stock and ready to ship today! These are based on the MS3-Pro, and have built in VVT control, alternator control, and all the other features you get with the MS3-Pro. We have two versions to cover the regular and Mazdaspeed versions. Price is $1199 for either one:

MSPNP-Pro for '01-'05 Miata

MSPNP-Pro for '04-'05 Mazdaspeed Miata

I need one for an '01 engine in a NA chassis. I never have enough time at home to build my damn wiring harness - thanks Uncle Sam.

Matt - Any indication yet of what sort of power bump these might yield on stock VVT NB engines? I was always pretty dismayed that when Mazda rolled out VVT on the '01 Miatas the change didn't yield substantial increases over the '00 cars on the dyno.

For the love of god make a PNP option for OBD2A Hondas!

We could definitely cook one up with a 10 unit group buy - any interest in organizing one?

We're definitely looking into releasing ones for the NA wiring harnesses as well. Using one with a VVT engine would need some minor wiring changes, but the ECU would be ready to support it.

I'll see if I can get you a dyno plot.

Let me see what I can dig up. Might be able to get something together.

Is there a particular stretch of OBD2A Hondas that have a common ECU pinout? That could get a wider net for the group buy if, for example, Civics and Accords used the same basic design.

94-97 Accords have two pins switched- I believe it's A6 and A11. Other than that, OBD1 is the same pinout, as well as OBD2A. OBD2B Accords should be on the same pinout as OBD2B Civics, as I've heard of jumper harnesses being just plug and play. Not really anyone using Megasquirt in the Honda community, but I'd love to be able to try out MS2/PCB3.57 on my OBD2A Accord if it's fairly easily done. I'd rather not have to fab up a unit, I simply don't have the time.

Thread I started on an Accord site. http://www.hondasociety.com/board/showthread.php?t=155560

Just had a look at the thread and wanted to mention: The price for a plug and play would be $799 for one based on the MS2 or $1199 for one based on the MS3-Pro. People in a group buy would get $100 off.

The $500 budget could potentially cover an off the shelf wire in ECU depending on options, but that would not be a new product or anything.

Good info to know. Would like to shoot an email to you to discuss some options sometime, if you're not too busy.
