I made some attempts at the Gurney flap simulation, but it looks a little ridiculous to me. JavaFoil shows that the wing at 0 deg perform the same as it did at 12 deg without the flap, but with less efficiency.

The simulation seems to be very sensitive to the thickness of the flap and the transition to the flap edge. I'm not sure if JavaFoil can simulate the flap properly.
Also I fixed the drag calculation in my previous post.
So I printed out an LNV109A profile to double-check the shape before I start working on airfoil extensions and..... it doesn't match the COT wing. It's close, but the COT airfoil is thicker and the lower radius extends further back. Guess I shouldn't have trusted the intarwebz about it.
I made a template off my wing and scanned it. Going to write a program to process the curve into point data so I can feed it into JavaFoil. Stay tuned.

Do you make these for people to buy or could i buy some plans to make my own? I could probably make my own but im trying to go racing this fall and am focusing on doing an engine swap in it to a k24 right now
