So, before my 1st Challenge in 2017, I was working on a '46 CJ2a.
I thought it had it's own thread... but I am now thinking I can't remember.
Here are a few pics from early on (2016):
It had been off of the road for a while:
If it looks familiar and there is indeed a thread out there that I started ... feel free to send me a link to the thread, and I'll resume from there.
Otherwise this will be the new home.
Decompostion started as soon as it was mine... :)
Frame repairs started immediately.
I don't think I have pictures of the jig I built to square the frame.
That's too bad, it was equal parts sketchy and effective.
Shortly after this stage, this happened:
Which was 100% Steve's fault.
Since then its all been challenge cars and bad ideas....
Anyone familiar with this?
Evidently it was the official State of Florida tourism slogan (Like "Sunshine State" is now) right up till the end of WWII / late 40's
Around that time it was seen as having a Japanese Empire connotation, and was left to fade into Florida history.
