HA! This will definitely be an odd car if I go the LS route... Ford body, Nissan suspension, and Chevrolet motivation

If you are using the Infinity chassis, I don't understand the desire to go down the LS route. You don't have to re-engineer the engine mounts or anything. The Nissan V8 is a nice high-revving unit too. Just my 2 cents. I do, however approve of the alternative (i.e. old weathered patina) look you have going for a drift car, so I wait with bated breathe to see the end result. Good luck!
The LS will be version 2.0.
The plan is to replace the oil pan gasket, fix the cooling system and see how well the VH45DE and auto trans hold up.

How about a build thread on this one?

Here is a link to the build on a Lexus forum: http://my.is/forums/f219/ls1-is300-drift-car-build-11-sec-quarter-mile-412624/

A deadline has been set. The goal is to drive the car to the Mitty. That gives me 221 days to make it happen!

Cool Clem.. whats the low down on it??
In reply to Billy_Bottle_Caps:
It's just an old barn find with no title. Also no drivetrain and now a whole lot of floor left.
Realistically, it's just trading fodder for me. I'd love to drop it on a used latemodel (racecar) chassis or something, but that's just more project than I'll actually accomplish anytime soon.
In reply to ClemSparks: Let me know if you are ready to trade it hopefully I will have something you need at the time
