Please tell me that this build will involve airbags so you can park it with the running boards an inch off the ground. I want to see the big curvy fenders covered in glossy dark paint - maybe a midnight blue - and all the brightwork nice and shiny. None of that "patina" rubbish for this one, and likewise, no billet....just shiny bright work and paint that looks a mile deep.
Not sure.
I'm going to the shop at 6:00am tomorrow, have a cup of coffee or two, pull some parts off the shelf, and just start building.
Not sure where it is going,......but can't wait to get started.

Yes. Polish those up!
Looking forward to this. My grandfather worked at a small town I-H dealer for 45 years. He just passed away a month ago, and I've become really interested in I-H vehicles since then.
I don't think they would call that a "radio delete" in 1955. They would say "It ain't got no radio."
Killer truck.
Looks like it has the heater option. Pure decadence.
Cool old truck. Shifter's gone, so I guess no engine or transmission?

It came with that owner installed option of "engine/tranny/shifter in bed". :)
There is the shifter!
I have pulled some speed parts off the shelves and have a build plan.

get those wheel centers put into a 17x9 rim so you can have good rubber and bitchin' caps!

You definitely read my mind.

Maybe if he reads it again, he'll do it.
I will contact Stockton wheel and see what they can make me.
I just got rid of some Milner Special - 32 Series in 16" X8" 17"X9"; that would have fit the bolt pattern. Not sure if that cap would have fit them?
I want that on my miata, maybe one of the side version, though.
Do you have another windshield? Otherwise I don't think the vent will make much of a difference.

Truck came with a hand written "Coupon?" for a windshield she said she paid/ordered at a Atlanta glass shop....I'm guessing 50/50 odds its legit,....I will stop buy and see what they say. I hear PPG makes (or up 'til a few years ago) windshields for it. There should be some new ones out there.
