Well, that didn't tKe long. Fatten up the mixture, add just a hair of idle speed, done. Idles beautifully while freezing you out.
Next is permanent installation of the wideband gauge and then my rally mirrors

Nope waiting on my wife and daughter to get ready for church. And then I drove it to church. Now on my way to Sunday lunch with the family at Mom and Dad's place in the old hot rod.
I love the drive ability and tick list items you're knocking out Michael. I'm working through some of them myself now and this week ahead of Woodward Dream Cruise. I did two Cars & Coffee events Saturday and drove it about 100 miles all told with a lot of freeway. Ran well.
Who said im a procrastinator? It's only taken since the summer of 95, but its now got side view mirrors that stay set, and are useful!
And it only cost $400.....
Now, the real kicker that nobody will ever notice? They're different side to side. That way from the factory. Different size and shape. And reproduction is the same way. Never knew that until this week. And im not sure i would have noticed without them being on the bench next to one another.

Exactly!
From what format?......cell phone.....touch screen imbedded in your whodathoughtit?
Another long procrastinated item off the list. Ive been wanting to put my vintage raid wheel in here since the elky was totalled. Finally did it.
wowazat inspired me to use the red car for a few sales calls today, which turned into a E36 M3show. All said and done, 167 mioes on the car without missing a beat. I need a good holly/hei tuner to spend some time to make it better, but its pretty good. I love this car. Highlight of the day was lunch with imegon and stafford1500. Good times.
Half day off turned into rush jobs, using duster for pickups and deliveries of motors, working late, and hitting 5 different pharmacies with corresponding calls to doctors office trying to get me daughters prescription refilled. Just completely NOT what the day was supposed to be. And quite stressful all the way around.
I actually washed it this morning. It's criminal how bad I've let the paint go on this thing. It photographs well, but its way worse than my dd truck.
I'm burned out a bit from big jobs and builds. I think some paint correction and detailing and ceramicoat on this car are in order for some therapy. And maybe rebuild the drivers door finally. Maybe. I suck at doors and windows. Especially frameless windows.
