Hell yes! Finally. New dining table has been liberated from side of truck.
Need more wipe downs, staple up some more plastic, and masking. OMG So much more masking than last time.... Fenders and valance are on now.

Spray tomorrow..... It's about half way masked and had a second window cleaner wipe down. I did find a couple pin holes....
NOHOME said:Your masking looks like you mean it. Fourth or fifth time gets a lot faster.
I used a tarp a few times....

The window channels on this make it pretty easy! Unfortunately having the front fenders and valance on makes that a pain area....

It's about 80 in the garage, I'm masking and literally can't wait for tomorrow!
Who'd a thunk that holding my breath over cars getting painted and that thing in November were going to be the highlights of my year?
In reply to NOHOME :
Trust me this is killing me! Need to wipe down with wax and grease and hang some. Plastic. Gotta go climb with the wife first.... Heat is chugging away. It's nice and toasty. Didn't want it to drop to overnight Temps (50 ish)

It's pretty decent. I can see a couple spots, but you have to know where I had trouble.
Except the wheel wells. They are still bad....
Lots of pin holes. Lots of runs.
They should call this spray able filler. Not high build primer. I started off with literally breaking a stir stick off trying to stir it. A drill mixer on low would have been real nice.
I sprayed 7 quarts. 2 coats everywhere. A 3rd light one on doors/fenders/hood/quarters.
You really need a 2.4 or bigger tip. It was HARD to get it on wet. 3-4" away moving slow and 50% overlap at least. My shoulders hurt.
I need to figure out how to do this roof. Even with a step ladder I can't really reach the middle well.
Interesting product.
I paid about $150 for this bucket of high end BSAF high build. This is after about half and hour of stirring, The stir stick was in this exact same position half an hour later.
Closed the lid and bought the featherfill. The BASF is still sitting on the shelf. Body shop supplies are becoming very specialized as to supporting equipment and as a consequence less and less friendly to the amateur.

Very much so! I mixed for 10-15 mins per gallon, till i got fed up really. It strained out pretty well tho.
Been ooogling in the garage, it's pretty good.
Oh i should mention you couldn't get more orange peel if you painted it with an orange tho!
Hey, your primer looks like mone did! Well, every time i sprayed it. Even with art setting up the gun and mixing.
berkeleying black magic man. Black magic.
This is not paint, it does not flow-out like paint.
You are going to sand this with 220 or whatever, find a few spots that you cant live with, fix them, and then shoot epoxy and go driving.
