Well, at least you get to see the quality before you get tge real ones! Not too late to cancel the order if they suck

They might not even want you to return those, shipping might cost them more than the wholesale rims did.

Nah there's like $350 there. They want them back.

so the correct wheels haven't shipped so I canceled my order and got a refund on amazon

Reordered the 2 wheels. Hopefully they don't send the two I returned.

So, may i make a suggestion?

I found that the later interior (95 up) has far, far more sound deadening and insulation than the early trucks. Incredibly different experience between the two. 

Since you are stuck in limbo waiting for parts,  why not insulate and deaden the doors and quarters, shampoo the seats and carpet,  etc? That seems like a tine/money investment that would have even bigger rewards for you based on the family usage goal of this truck.

Now to order 2 more, pick tires, pick center caps and get hardware.

Flat disc style caps with a bowtie,  255/55/18 tires. At least thats my vote. 

They make a few center caps so I may order one of each. Not sure if the smoothies will fit with the front hubs?

I think I want to go wider than 255 but I need to look at sizes again. A 255 isnt that much wider than the 235s it came with although tire shape is a factor too. The 235s on it now measure about 6.5" tread width.

Still hung up deciding if I want to run a square 18x9.5 setup or go to an 8.5 up front.

Continental makes the same tire in a 255/55 and a 285/50

I feel like that's the way to go.
