I had a leak in the back of my engine on my Z3 and have traced it to the water hose that connects my engine to the heater core.
With pelicanparts guidance I have taken off my intake completely. It was a total pain in the exhaust.
What kind of things would y'all replace "while you're in there" for an M44. This guy has 135k miles. My budget isn't unlimited, but I also plan to take it on track over the next few years until I hit the lottery and buy the NP01 I really deserve (joke).
I'm replacing the heater core hoses and radiator hose. I'm replacing the intake gaskets and my idea is to replace the vacuum hose with AutoZone sourced hose. The vacuum system is black magic to me, but I can wrap my head around taking out a hose, cutting a new one to fit and replacing it.
So lend me some thoughts about stuff you'd replace on a reasonable budget while I've gone this far.
There's also some oil and build up in my intake and my engine block. I'll get pictures from my phone to this post after work.
