They sing a little bit because it needs an alignment adjustment so they wore cupped on the outside. So far 42k in and have another 20 in them i think.

Is that the thing?
It's the thing, Carli and I just uncrated it. some assembly required, will put pictures up when it's done.
Ohhh it's the thing, alright!
"The thing" is almost set up, so we'll let the cat out of the bag. I'm starting a new home based business because, honestly, my body is broken down from 25 years in the remodeling business after 7 years of being a very serious baseball catcher. The knees aren't what they used to be, and honestly there's no better time to wind down the body killing work and only take easy jobs and start making income another way.
GRM discounts of course.
OH BOY!
Do you accept DXF files?
How can I make Sketchup parts = real parts through Patrick Industries?

i'm literally just learning and will be leaning on Axe and Dead Sled for help since they're local and have cnc experience. But as soon as I figure everything out we'll talk. I'm going to spend time this weekend with the programs and starting test cutting. I just got done hooking up the computer and starting configuration. It's like a slightly more complicated vinyl plotter, so I should pick it up pretty quickly.
Very cool! What brand?
I've had mine up and running about 8 years now, and it's a great thing to have.
Be forewarned, one of these can generate stupid amounts of greasy black particulate-filled smoke. It WILL cover everything in the room. I set up a down-draft table connected to a big dust collector fan, and it works very well. At least do some curtains on all sides and the top.
I also messed around with a water table, and that's also a neat way to go. It ended up being a bit messy and I went the other way with the fan.
Water table just needs a drain. built framework out of 2x6, built the table out of 2 pieces that i had that were 3x5 and flanged all around. Very convenient to not throw anything away i guess. Ordered the sodium nitrite and physan 20 to make the water not rust things.
Made my first test piece today, not for sale of course because licensing reasons. Bat-guy-dude symbol bottle opener.
also got the belt grinder put together, and have a raging neck tension headache, so I've got that going for me

Don't take this the wrong way but which one of your 13 hoopies was bad enough to qualify?
In reply to Stampie (FS) :
I agree with Stampie. My guess is it's the Wartburg, which, while not a hooptie because you've done awesome work, strikes me as the type of thing that catches their eye.

It's gotta be the Wartburg. They gave that car away to begin with.
In reply to Mndsm :
But the weird French car that I 100% can't remember the name of right now will be worthy of this at some point too because it's straight awesome.
