Ok, sorry for the delay.

Taking the glove box out is pretty much straight froward except you will need to disconnect the glove box door limit thingys.  These thingys are not easy to disconnect and most likely you will break them.  

With the thingies removed you can lower the door far enough to gain access to all the screws.

In your estimation i might be able to gain access to the HVACthingys by dropping the glove box guts.......that would be way too sweet......wish me luck i'm off to crash the server er Dboard of the 'V' many thanks DocB!!!!!
