I can't manage my planned rollout for summer/autumn 2023. there are still too many small and large jobs to be done. Everything moves slowly and the biggest enemy is time. I hope for completion in spring 2024. Videos and photos will continue to provide information.
Air scoop for a double airduct. first simple attempts did not succeed. now CAD and negative mold are used.
first attempts with vacuum processes. Test with 1.5mm / 2mm thick. I need more to test ...... now make it again in nice with 1.5mm.
Steering column extended even further to achieve optimal arm bend
You can also get out without removing the steering wheel.
Rollcage in planning
Hose connector quick release mounted 4x for easy removal of the axle.
A problem is always the shock absorber and tie rod, so I changed the shock absorber base. There is also space for the new half drive shaft. Now everything is very close together but doesn't touch.
Pirelli v. Michelin : 305/645-18 and 325/705-18 v. 27/65-18 and 31/71-18
Thank you thank you . I'm sorry that I'm not finished and ready to go yet, but everything takes time, money and important/right decisions. I want to be unique and perfect and later drive worry-free. All my customers and those who want to become customers should be able to look forward to the best quality of their products. My plan was rollout in 2023 after 8 years of construction from the start of building the racing engine. It's not easy, but when I'm done, I'm done. 2024 ?????
By the way, I built the chassis skates myself. Cheaper and exactly what I need. The centering pin on the skates and 2 holes in the white Teflon to prevent the skates from twisting are still missing.
So far I haven't been able to decide on an optimal rollcage solution. The market doesn't offer anything suitable for my ideas. Now I'll build it myself. All space in the car is now available. It's a slightly different approach for me, but for me it's better.
The left is also fully assembled
Self-built preheater with 14kw water heater and control/timer with 700W engine oil heater. the racing engine needs to be preheated.
produce larger negatives for new carbon parts with little effort
