Then how did you hang calipers? Or are you talking the whole kit and caboodle?
At Summit today I picked up an SSBC rear disc conversion for the rear. Originally $1000, got it for $300. Also got a Flex a lite fan and shroud kit for $125 (not sure 3300 cfm will be enough for the engine).
Turned down the drum hubs, biught flyinbye brackets, used calipers, pads, abutments, and rotors. Bolted together. Somewhere early in the elky thread is specifics.
And tuna, I have a few. ..
had a really nice driver quality 67 lemans come in too work over the summer. guy was slowly finishing the chassis with just about every bolt on piece anyone made too make one handle. I was shocked too open the hood and actually see a 389 tri power. i love the old multi carb set ups but even i know there not the most practical!
Ok. I can get brackets and it looks like hubs just need to be massaged to fit the rotors.
I'll bet if I dig hard enough I could find a PDF template for the brackets. Thanks for the heads up on that Dusterbd.
In reply to dropstep:
389/3x2 is also an older setup than 1967 - that combo was discontinued in 1966. A '67 should have had 400/4b. Funny that he's restomodding the suspension but went backwards for power.
I heard a rumor that there were a couple 400 tripowers that made it to the streets as a dealer option. Dealers who had tripower setups on the shelf sometimes tossed them on 400s in 67 for a price. Any validity to that rumor?

he purchased it with the driveline already installed. its not even close to numbers matching as it also has the wrong ratio 4 speed and a ford 9" rear. he wanted something he wasn't afraid to log lots of street miles on.

None that I ever heard of, but that doesn't mean anything. GM and Mopar of that era are rife with "1 of none" cars that came from the factory, or at least off the showroom floor, with supposedly-unavailable option packages and setups.
Totally irrelevant sidebar....

I know a 1969 hardtop mustang with a 302 Boss, a 3 spd, and a 3.50 final drive!!! And yes it came from the factory that way!!! Met the guy when I was in the Mustang restoration field 20 years back... he was a line employee back in Metuchen, and that is what he wanted...
Update today.
I pulled the carb apart for two reasons. It was leaking at the top gasket so I replaced it. I also suspected that the accelerator pump wasn't pumping, and that assumption turned out to be correct. The carb had been very recently rebuilt and was spotless inside, but the plunger of the accelerator pump was a little stiff so I replaced it.
The radiator had a few pinhole leaks. I was going to pull it and have it brazed, but I thought that it would probably end up with 20 more pinholes in the next year so I bought a good aluminum radiator. Its a 3 core polished piece from Champion and so far I'm ridiculously impressed. The welds look fantastic, the polish is perfect, and the billet neck is a nicely done piece of work.
I'm going to replace a few vacuum hoses that have turned into glass, and replace the valve cover gaskets. I put a few quarts of ATF in the transmission and it shifts fine, but Duke warned me of a pretty sizeable leak at the output shaft. I did find a TH350 to put in, but the guy can't promise its good and he wants too much for it.
Here is a picture of the radiator. Disregard the fan... that won't go in until later.
Vac advance was crapped out too.
Took it around the block today for its first drive with mom and dad!

Beautiful

Just be careful of that back window in the cold. But yeah, I used to drive around a lot in late February (any time it was above about 50, and sunny) with the top down and the heat cranked. It's actually more enjoyable than, say, August.

I had it in the garage working on some stuff with the shop heat on so it was nice and warm when I put it down.
I have a picture somewhere of me and the ex driving cross-country in my E30 cabrio. We made a pact to drive the whole way with the top down. In Baker CA it was 104, then crossing over Vail CO it was 32. We did it. Somewhere in Illinois we got some rain and I found out that the interior stayed mostly dry above 80 mph.
