Ever notice that there seems to be a disproportionate amount of epic builds that involve Audi 5 cylinders or Audi 2.7Ts?
I have a feeling that i need to start looking for a 90 20v again. I was watching a video of the one that holds the Amery Speed Run top speed record and i kept alternating between and

Ah, yes. Dave Coleman's "Miatabusa." Just about all the MotoIQ project cars are frakking cool.
In case anyone wondered whatever happened to Sport Compact Car, a lot of the guys from it founded the online magazine MotoIQ.

Cliffnotes - Guy has supercharged 308, gets bored, finds 400i V12 and wants Testerossa V12 4v heads on it. They don't fit... Let the insanely awesome fabrication begin...
Yes you do have to register to see all the pix, but they're both free and it's WELL worth the read.

I was disappointed when, after expecting the 25 liter hemi engine mentioned in the URL, it turns out to be a 2.5.

crazy, CRAZY wiring, sketchy fabrication (welds and tooling), and questionable decisions (tank mounting and fuel plumbing) aside, thats a fun project...not sure if he was too busy trying to find out if he could to stop and think if he should, but fun nonetheless
I found this on the garage journal website while looking through the workbench thread. Quite possibly one of the more epic threads I've had the pleasure of reading.
Widened MGB body with LT1 powa! and C4 chassis. Tons of crazy fab skills. Makes some of his own tools to get the job done, including an English wheel that looks like it could form 1/2" thick unobtanium. Turns out he's owned the car since the 70's and did a V8 swap back then.
This is just nuts. I especially like it when he cuts down the turbo to re size it to his needs.

There is also a twin engine escort or something that got started but has died for the moment on that board as well.

What I always loved about this build is it's a totaly Q ship. Remove the stickers and 99% of people wouldn't konw it was modified in any way. He went to great lengths to make it look OEM.
