There will be a story to tell.. stay tuned and be patient.
It will be worth it.
This is one of my favorite hood scoops - like a racing stallion with flared nostrils so far out front pulling in the coldest air to feed the high performance engine under the hood.......
I love when cars were designed on a drafting board and not on a computer to match the other jelly beans.
In reply to Datsun240ZGuy :
Yep that one is a 1971 4speed brown / brown Formula 400
The Other is a 1971 Gold / Brown Esprit.
Kevin, hook a brother up....
Please?!
Ive been lustibg to build a early-mid second gen firebird formula clone drivabeater style to daily. Even have the ls/4l60e combo amd bits, brakes, steering box, wheels....
In reply to Dusterbd13 :
That not impossible.
But there is a lot going on with this situation right now....
In reply to Dusterbd13 :
Included in this is a house, attic, yard, and basement of NOS and gently used from the 80's parts, wheels, engines etc.
A family member passed last Friday. I'll be more open about the whole story after some times has passed.

And I apologize for being an inadvertent vulture.
Thank you.
And you were not being a vulture.
Like myself you are concerned that something good happens here.
I just have to get through the legal issues 1st.

Those circumstances are always so conflicting.
Some of my favorite tools and "toys" are either directly or indirectly a result of someone passing or something negative happening to me or someone close to me.
Hope you can make some happiness from it.
I'm sorry for your loss.
I'm also excited at the prospect that you get to mess with both of these old Birds. I love all of the 2nd Gens, but the early cars are special. Also would love to see that parts horde!
Hoping you can get some enjoyment out of all of this in light of the loss.
In reply to Tony Sestito :
Thank You.
I'm sort of holding back until I have the time to get the whole story out in a couple of posts that will do justice to the backstory.

So did you give Finnegan the Challenge sales pitch?!
I should have... but they were exhausted... and swamped by fans... and still so cool and accommodating.
Newbern liked the 57.
Here is a sampling of the parts to come.
Probably 50% NOS, 20% authorized repo, 10% repo, 20% good used.
As a total, this probably 10 to 20% of the total volume of parts to come.
