Front lip is on, as well as a brace that goes behind the back seats.
after some discussion about the effectiveness of screws, spacecadet & I decided zip ties would be best. It is essentially stitched to the front bumper.

Bilstein b8's and eibach pro kit springs are on in the front. The rears... Suck. RR is done, going to tackle the LR tomorrow morning. The top shock bolt is attached to a weird bracket thing that requires a several foot long extension and a swivel socket. It's truly frustrating to work on.
Finally back together. Eibach pro kit and Bilstein b8's. Build quality of the undertay (from corksport) is absolutely incredible. Fit better than the factory tray and mounts on rubber isolators that corksport sent. The way the car sits is exactly what I was looking for. Excited to go take it for a spin. Also there is a life update for anyone that can read swmbo's shirt.
Glad to see the review of that tray. That's an indulgent item I was considering..
What's the theory on that rear brace? Did you get to drive on it separately from installing the spring/struts or is that result all mixed together?
Congrats on the baby! I haven't even driven my baby in my ms6 and I've had it a year this month.. lol.
In reply to Vigo :
I did get to drive separately and while it did feel more stable to me it was well within the realm of "could be my imagination". The Bilsteins however have completely transformed the car. And if your tray looks and stays up as terribly as my oe one did, that corksport is the only way to go.
Starter went out this week and with the weekend here it's time to replace it. Also doing an oil change and finally installing the spin on filter conversion and the new oil cooler gasket that's been leaking profusely.
New starter is in. Fun fact, it is remarkably easy to get to with the oil filter housing and oil cooler removed. Gasket is replaced, oil cooler is cleaned up and mounted to the new spin in filter housing. Going back in the morning to throw that on. After that just have to put the damond Motorsports oil restrictor bolt in and fill her up with oil.
In reply to spacecadet :
Yes. From the factory it came with a cartridge style filter that leaked aggressively from the housing. Mazda sells an OE parts conversion kit for a reason
New starter is in. So far so good, starts right up. Oil cooler gasket seems to have taken care of The Leak part 1 and the new oil filter housing seems to have taken care of The Leak part 2. Also swapped the factory turbo banjo bolt for a damond Motorsports oil restrictor bolt. Fun fact: when you disconnect the oil cooler your coolant shower will be roughly half a gallon.
