Did you get the 65 turbos from the seller in Ohio? Those were a good deal! I was contemplating getting an engine off of him.

How do yall like the GL?

9 blade turbine wheels and larger billet compressor wheels

New bearings and seals

Powercoat and ceramic coating

So, this is super cool, but how did you balance the turbocharger?  You'll kill those new bearings pretty fast if the something is out of balance.

Yep got a couple 65 things from him, and gave him some ABC lines off my S class for his swap project

I love the GL, one of my favorite cars i've owned and that's saying something

it's hilariously pretty in there relative to the truck itself.  This project is bonkers.  In the best way.

Set the whole contraption back 6 inches so accessories can clear. Stock HMMWV cross member worked like a champ. Next thing, engine mounts

"Dry ice blasted"....tell me more. I didn't know that was a thing.

Sand, sure. Carbide grit, glass, walnut shells, even plastic beads - but solid carbon dioxide? Huh.

Its become a very big thing recently, cleans up parts really well without worry of harming plastic, rubber, other fragile parts.  It has become very popular in restoration and people preparing cars for auctions

It also doesn't make a mess, there is no residue since the dry ice just sublimates. We have used it to clean machines at work, no prep no mess, just dry ice blast and they are squeaky clean.

Did Josh figure out if the boost pressure required transmission input? Or are y'all going with a manual controller?

A while back I was talking to him about my w108 being m275 swapped. At the time he had just figured out running the m275 ecu standalone setup.
