Yepper the IH Binder is gone and I did a straight swap for a Saturn D100, 2002 model, base, 2.2, auto, working AC, 146K miles, clean and decent appliance for work use.
This will be interesting to see how it hold up to 50K a year.
It does need a driver's side door pull and hubcaps.
Runs great, if soulless.
NB: I won't be driving it, one of my drivers will be.
exceeding 30 mpg is a win.

I don't believe I have ever heard of a d100.
I suspect it is a Saturn L100

People like you make baby Jesus cry...
I have enough toys.
Needed a workhorse.
Simple enough logic. The Saturn will pay me, the International doesnt get driven and makes me zip

He's a Ninja that doesn't need to get anywhere quickly, or with any style.

Aren't those things based on the Vectra?
Keep an eye on the timing chains. If they rattle, fix'em before they break! has 2 chains, one for the cams, one for the balance shafts and oil pump. 2007 was an improved design, I believe the parts fit the earlier cars.
I believe the improved timing chain guide is 04 and up. We are aware of this.

Finally some pics of the plain jane workhorse
Needs hubcaps/wheels, driver door pull handle broken, rear door trims hacked for speaker install and a serious clean out, it is filthy

Cleaned floors, surfaces inside cabin, seats, windows, installed work decal, cleaned out trunk.
$7.87 in change, a adjustable wrench, tire repair kit, multi grips, 2 wrenches, all the books, a brand new soaking wet McDonalds T shirt, and about 10 lbs of old candy.

It drives fine, AC works, windows work, new tires, new shocks, new brakes no leaks, no noises, and after a clean up, no smells.

Now to drive it into the ground
Quick spray with degreaser and then water.
The heart of the beast

At least it's not the V6...those are weird to work on...torx bits everywhere, crowded, etc. So what exactly is Easy Transit? I like driving around, sounds like a fun job!
