You picked the right time to get back to a slightly warmer climate.
So the day I dropped off the uhaul trailer a hub failed in wheel tried to escape manner. I got that fixed and then rusty brake lines popped. The truck then sat for a few months until I finally got that dialed. I was pretty close to parting it out but then I drove it for a few days and started liking it again.
So I started giving it more attention. First I pulled the side steps, mud flaps, and side moldings.
And then I got bored today and drilled holes in the bumper for some lights.
New rear brakes on the Tahoe because one of the calipers stuck and the other one was trying to stick.
And then me and a buddy took it to Mid Ohio for another Gridlife weekend. It worked well. Fixing the AC that broke on the way back from Heartland last year moved pretty high up the list but the truck did great other than that. Still really good at eating miles on a long transit. Especially good since I had a co driver this time and got to sleep for half of the drive home.
