I just got sent this picture of my actual wheels, they should be here in a week

Oh those are sexy. What color are you going to paint the car?
Car will be white with red brakes, roll cage and frame. The hood, mirrors, spoiler and door handles will be unpainted carbon fibre
And with tires mounted. My brothers traditional tire machine wouldn't accommodate the wheels so I took them to the local Porsche dealer, which has a baller tire machine
I spent 9 hours today crafting the 3 inch oval exhaust system. It was super tight going over and under and along everything. 2 inch dual exhaust would have been so much easier! Anyways, it's not quite done yet, still have half the tailpipes to do but here's an advanced look, and it sounds amazeballs so far
And I made a video about the wheels and the exhaust Click Here for Video

Anvil made them, that would be beyond my carbon abilities. Mirrors are all carbon, too-not wrapped
In reply to loosecannon :
I was assuming those were wrapped as well. That's the cool thing about working on a popular car, you can find so many aftermarket parts for it.
The hood is a custom fab also? Do you anticipate that the vents will do the 'trick' without having to add fender vents also?

The hood is one of the options that Anvil offers and I hope the vents are enough. I wanted to incorporate fender vents like a Porsche GT3 but Briget would not go for it.
As I posted in my MGB thread, the Pink Panther has a rod knock so now I am attempting to get the Camaro ready to run a local event before the season is over. A lot has to be accomplished for that to happen. Here's a video about it Click Here
I took the seat out of the race car and the seat out of my racing sim and bolted them into the Camaro. Then I added some Corbeau harnesses and even added a shift boot. I also finished making spacers for the splitter and got them mounted, too. This all is awesome progress but then I find out that some much-needed parts will not arrive until May of 2024 at the earliest. The Penske coilovers have been ordered as well
You all have seen the hood in pictures but here is a video I did about it Click here for video
Ok, felt inspired and took car for a spin around the block. I observed that the ride is really rough without dampers installed, throttle tip-in is, shall we say, spicy? The transmission shifts beautifully, like S2000 beautifully and any blip of the throttle spins the tires. Oh, and the car is too damn loud...like I'm going to be arrested loud. New mufflers have been ordered
