Hillclimber in 30 days? I thought they only did that on TV . . .
I'm reviving a build I was two steps away from giving up on and selling. Follow along as I try to FINALLY get the 350is on track . . .

Day 1 down!! Day 2 is engine and trans removal.
30 days feom parting it out to hill climber? Nah, no stress there.
Good luck. I'll be pulling for you.
Thanks!! This will be a true test . . .
Day 2 . . .
Great build. So I'm not sure, how far did you get with the 302 conversion previously and how long has it sat. Did it ever fire up in the car or are you hoping for a series of home runs to get this up the hill?

That pretty much sums it up!! The only turns the 302 has made was with a long breaker bar.
The engine and trans made it into the chassis to check fit issues. After that, I stalled out on the project. So yea . . . Definitey a seat of the pants sprint to the hill.
Day 4 done!!
Thanks!! If I do, it would be an awesome accomplishment. If I don't it would be an awesome effort nonetheless.
Day 7 . . .
Day 8 . . .
Day 10!!
When will it be back from the cage builders? How much time will you have to put it together and test it? 20 days to go!
I should get it back next week (no later than 8/30) . . . Then the daily smash begins!! I do have some slack time (2 days) built into the schedule.
I was going to do a bolt in roll bar as that is legal (also a bit cheaper) as well. That way, I could've build and test while I wait for the bar to arrive then install it. However, Mrs. Zero vetoed and said weld in or no racing . . . Gotta keep the sponsor happy!
It would be awesome to see you run up the hill given this build schedule. I'll be spectating with my son this time. Good luck, Mr Theodore is very persuasive.
It's two RH shorty manifolds. On the driver side, it will run around the front of the engine to the passenger side and connect to a y-pipe after the starter. Check out Day 4 for pics.
