That grill shell came out nice. What do you end up using for a grill? Aren't they tapered?
Also nice to see a full bevel on that frame butt joint. Too many people think they can just burn in enough.

I'm thinking of modifying an aftermarket truck billet grill, turning it sideways so the billet bars are vertical. The toughest part will be getting the V shape doing it that way.
Thank you for noticing and mentioning the bevel, I couldn't imagine welding it flat faced.
The plus side is the top and bottom at least have the same profile, so you're not having to make a cone.
After a heart-to-heart with my car girl girlfriend. She, along with majority of my friends, don't want to see Bucket #1 torn apart to build Bucket #2, I get it, so I'll keep moving forward with #2 as if it's a completely separate build.... with the contingency that if anything critical on the frame & suspension breaks again, instead of mending #1 it'll be reborn into #2.
