This is Munchkin

Dash is almost in Dad is putting it in as I type.

I got all confused thinking that was Munchkin's arm and your dad was putting the dash in.  I was like really Michael is just taking pictures while they do all the work?

Munchkin helped line up all the holes and studs, as well as make sure wiring and such didn't get pinched.

Das is in now. Not fleshed out yet, and thats still premature. Have some harbess changes to make due to different donors, and need to test fore the harness before going further.

Fist time this car will have electricity since 2014.

no smoke so far

My safety net for putting power to the harness after major work. Put a 7 amp fuse in line with the post and the cable and make sure it does not blow. 7 amps will blow before tha cable melts the insulation.  Will also allow you to check a lot of the low watt stuff and even power-to the higher wattage devices like headlights, horns and starter relays.

My power supply is 11 amps max. With 20 gauge leads. So, fusible link!

You have a remote 12v power supply you use instead of the battery?

Nice.  I've got something similar, but it's home-made.

Thanks yall!

The rear body harness is not playing nice. All the dash and front stuff works. Im betting that there was a pinout change with the connector change from 1997 to 1999. Wire colors matched. but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Time for real diagnosing. Yay.

I want to say the wiring in the 98-99 models were different from the earlier Neons.  I’m certain of it for the engine harness, just can’t remember with the body harness.

In reply to eastsideTim :

Its seemingly the case. I was thinking it was 97-99 the same, with 95-96 different. But nope! I was wrong.

that buffs out nice. First round started. Im stoked.

when one can see all his peeps lookin back at you in the newly sprayed ACR ....it's ALL GOOD!!!!

Yeah, its going to buff out REAL nice.

Tonight we stripped suspension stuff fo cleaning and painting,  made a bigger pile of scrap, got lessons from art in wetsanding and buffing, trashed the shop, and ate Chinese. It was a good night. (The door showed art and brother Dustin. Munchkin had gone to bed by that point. I took picture. )

Tomorrow is cleaning the shop and wetsanding when i have time. Also,.i need to figure out a way to keep the buffing goo from going everywhere. Cause its EVERYWHERE.

Why is floor not all Blurple?

In reply to NOHOME :

Floor of shop or car? Shop  is not because we shot in arts booth. Car because i didn't want to. And its base clear, so hopefully no blurple is exposed in sanding.
