Everytime I look at the paint job your crew did I hate you.
Berkley, it looks good!
I didn't say on the wheels yet, but I like the white slipstreams.

I couldn't have done it without arts help. Art swears it wouldn't be this good if he did it by himself. He is primarily a painter that does bodywork, not a bodyman that paints according to him.
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael (Forum Supporter) :
Art COULD do it as he kept you on track while you put in the hours on the sanding boards. What Art would not do, is do this for himself because, why? He would have had the car painted and sold three quarters of the time it took to get the paint done.
this is AFTER two rounds of purple power and a hose. These seats are WRECKED. they're the correct ones for my acr, and i will try to save them but i am not entirely sure i can.
What is the "drying" process....just outside in a 'calm' breeze??? WRECKED !?!?!?! smell ....no support(stuffin')??
Drying is outside in the sun and fresh air.
Wrecked: foam destroyed, filthy and worn covers, cigarette burns, and heavily rusted steel structures. I have four of this seat design. Two multi color squiggly, two red squiggly. Hopefully i can make a good pair of multi color squiggly.
In reply to 759NRNG (Forum Partidario) :
The hope is to save the skins, and transplant on the two best foams and frames.
As far a purple power on sun visors, i wouldn't recommend. Rmthe one time i tried my purple power and a hose on headliner it ended with a destroyed headliner. Now, the dawn/vinegar/hot water my wife used on this headliner....
working on roller status still. Getting closer! Work is busy as berkeley right now, so progress is slow.
If you're taking the seat covers off to swap around anyway, why not toss em in the washing machine once or twice?
Lunch break update:
Seats washed again. Clean enough to start cleaning and repair, and i put the acr embroidered headrests on to see if i like them. I do. Fancy!
And i washed my fan while I had yhe hose out. It made an impressive difference in output!
This morning was shop and parts cleaning. Feel much better about things. Once the neon rolls again, i need to really clean up. And mop.
Also, ive decided theres no wrong answer to the wheel question. so the right answer is both k1s AND white slipstreams.
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael (Forum Supporter) :
Those white K1's are SO GOOD!
SO GOOD!!
(Had to say it twice. Because they're that good.)
I would normally insist that they MUST be white, but those are so rad that I'm willing to make an exception. That car is making me feel all kinds of young.
Seth: did we do away with recoup rules/tire rules for gastropod? Cause im at lease running radwood on federal rs-rr, which are 240? Treadware
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael (Forum Supporter) :
Recoup rules gone. It's just 250tw and "real car" and follow all the other Challenge rules and have the most fun.
Simple Tire says the rs-rr is 200tw?
Welp. Guess that i remembered the rating wrong.
Probably still run radwood! And see if i can find decent 250tw tires. Because honestly, the rs-rr are a little bit much on the street for a car that will just get driven and not really autocross or road raced.
K1's all the way. But I've been a fan boy of them for as long as I can remember and I've never even owned a set but just love the look of them.
Embrace the 90's theme and run K1's on one side and the Slips on the other side. Fairly certain I remember that being a fad for awhile.
