I like that visor more than I thought I would, but I also vote no. I like the nice clean lines of the truck.

No visor, it makes the truck look like it is going to say "BRO!" a lot

I think the answer is to get the visor painted to match but probably not put on so I can kick the can down the road.

In case anyone hasn't guessed yet, this is getting dropped off for paint when I pick up the El Camino, so getting it ready for paint is taking priority over getting it running.  And since there's a color change happening.....

You know what might look nice?  Tucking the front bumper, possibly requiring a notch to get it sucked back towards the body.  A couple inches movement rearward could look really nice.  Also mirrors that are a bit less utilitarian.

Just thoughts.  Good progress.

There is actually a thin bumper, it cane on 2wd work trucks and Ramchargers. It LOOKS a lot cleaner but they are hard to find in good shape. I have one like brand new off a Ramcharger I patted a few years ago.

I already have the much smaller Little Red Express style 70s mirrors, though the holes for the existing mirrors feature nutserts and aren't going to be a lot of fun to fill.

You can see in the early pictures that the brush guard has a weird angle to it. The guard is made for the 70s thinner bumper that has a different angle to it. I actually have a Dukes of Hazard style push guard that matches the bumper that's on the truck that I am planning on installing instead mostly to support installing some serious driving lights.

Its a little funny to me, that front bumper, because I usually swap it out for a big drop step ag-style rear bumper so I have something to stand on.  This poor little truck is going to be so heavy in the front already with the big block that I want to get some of the weight off. I am seriously considering finding or making a fiberglass bumper even.

I have done a few Vic rear end swaps. Completely changed the dinamics of the truck.

So the Crown Vic is only 1/2" shorter wheelbase than the dodge pickup too, so I may need to consider swapping the whole frame under dad's truck.

That or throwing together my leftover parts and building another truck, because I need more projects.
