After my last post I went on CL here and looked up Studebaker. What pops up but a 60 lark in about the same shape as yours. It also had parts from two other parted larks to go with it all for $600. Man it's all I could do not to get it. Only thing is I like sleeping in my bed and having a wife that will talk to me.

What a cool car! cant wait to see it tossed around the autocross course. I know it may be impractical, but I'm kinda praying those front bench seats somehow stay put for racing... Maybe build an adult car-seat for driver retention/safety during racing? This thing would be tough competition in concourse either way. Thanks for sharing the build.
Question: Is PACC = Paula,Andrew,Calvin and what'shisname? I apologize for forgetting his name.

PACC Racing is my family racing team. My Mom Paula, my Dad Andrew, my brother Cameron, and I Calvin (PACC). We have built many cars over the years, and have competed at the GRM Challenge, Drag Week, and in land speed racing. If you want to check out some of our past builds, here is a link:

If you click on the links in the sidebar, there are build sites for most of the cars. Some of them are incomplete, though.
Thanks for the kind words!
Calvin
I did not know what PACC stood for. Nice.
Good Day!
Woo! Reader's ride of the week! Glad everyone is enjoying it!
Turn signals work!
Saw a stude pickup this afternoon on my way home. and thought of this thread,

I would have bet a hundred bucks that I had read this whole thread. Apparently not.

The page jumped fast after it was posted. It would have been easier if he just named all of his kids Andrew, though PAAA would't be as good of a team name.
The car is getting closer. Installed slapper bars.
Installed grill and headlight ring. These are the most shiny parts on the car.
The list as it stands.
Okay, so I am getting a kick out of this "throw-back-mobile". SBC, 4 speed, 9", 4-pinion Trac-Lock, Chrome reverse, Lakewood Traction Bars, Hurst Competition Plus Shifter, Holley 4BBL, Edelbrock Intake, Hooker Headers, Moroso air cleaner, Mr. Gasket gaskets, Gabrials. If it had a Crane Cam, S&W Gages, Sun Tach and a Thrush Cherry Bomb it would be everything I dreamed about.....35 years ago....

I was referring to the parts list. But FWIW, I raced a 51 Studebaker with a 13:1 SBC, T400, 4200 stall, Dana with 4.82:1 gears 34 years 8 months ago. It ran 12.02 at 115 on street tires. Sorry, I never claimed to be one of the cool kids.
We got it registered last night. The car has been off the road since 1976. Hope to take a drive in about 2 hours.
30+ miles and we have a short list.
New quieter fuel pump
Adjust left front drum brake shoes
Toe in left 1/8"
Adjust steering box

Three out of four items are now done....that fuel pump is going to be replaced soon.
Enjoyed the afternoon rebuilding the Holley Carb. I forgot how much I enjoy nut & bolt work. Seams like we've been fabbing stuff for a long long time....
100 miles down. I love it!

So cool to imagine that thing cruising around. I may have to get a ride in florida.
I just realized I never posted the video of this car going down the track. My dad and I took it racing over spring break, and it did pretty well. It definitely has way more in it as far as the E.T. is concerned, but the MPH is a 12 second MPH. My dad and I both made a pass, and it was an absolute blast, which is what really matters.
