Potential Project: AW11 Mr2

Dang, I was hoping you'd get this one going. Well, hopefully someone else here can finish her up.

Yeah, that was the plan.

Priorities shift. May be looking to replace it with a running "ANSWER"

GAH...thats a great starting point. I really wish I werent saving for a house. GLWS!!!

Wait for the interest rates to come down a bit more and buy the Mr2.

Not yet. I don't know any peeps there.

I wouldn't let that keep you from listing it there. The group there are notoriously cheap, but also just as likely to be interested in a project as this board.

Had 3 people contact me as soon as I listed it on CL, and got cold feet. Tried to make an excuse to not show the car., etc..

As the quote says: "Bird in hand is more valuable than 2 in the bush"

I don't know what I was thinking..

Good, I can never figure out why people sell AW11s...but I hope they're still doing it when I get the chance to own one!

UPDATE:

Got the dizzy in today and think I set it to TDC, put on the D-Force LTW's with RE-11s from my old E30 in, removed the T-tops for the look.

Jump-started it with the M and took it for a little drive around the block. Started right up, but the timing was slightly high. (it was cold). With no exhaust, it was loud as heck.. Drove good, but have a lack of power. All tune-up parts were replaced. , etc.. no smoke.. I'm thinking I need the back-pressure of an exhaust there. Might to to a muffler shop and put on a cheapo weld-in..

So far... HAPPY..
