Professor, I just picked up the 03 R/T I mentioned on this thread a couple pages back. Does your R/T have a separate build thread somewhere, or is it intertwined in this thread? I'll start a build thread in a few months seeking advice. It's got a bad tranny and headgasket, but for $150, what the heck.
Its all intertwined in this one. If ya have any question feel free to ask. My 2g ACR had its own thread. The head gasket is easy, what makes you think trans is bad, there are some super common issues that can feel like a broken trans.
White Trash all cleaned up and waxed.

Put in the Mad Dog shifter Chuck build for this car. I ordered the wrong adapter for my cool knob so this will have to do.

I haven't looked into it yet, but the previous owner told me it "won't go into gear" and that she had checked the shifter cables. When I picked it up I verified that the engine runs, but sure enough, you can move the shifter through the positions, even with the engine running and foot off the clutch, and there's just...nothing. It doesn't grind...just ...nothing. The cables are moving the levers on the tranny. I am in the middle of an addition on the house and can't afford a ton of time for diagnosis right now, but if there are some fast & easy checks I can make by sneaking away from the house for a few minutes, I would love to hear them. In a few months I will be able to thoroughly check it out and get on the head gasket, timing belt, water pump, etc.

Got it off the kid who bought my NA6 from the lady I sold it to. I sold the car a few years back, and met him a few months ago.
He had this one before my old red one, it started running bad, he shot gunned some parts on it, continued to do the same thing.
Fast forward a while, his apartment complex wanted it gone, due to it setting around. He called me and asked if I wanted it.... I told him yes and went and got it, it drove to the shop fine and started to asking up. The fuel pressure was going wild. He replaced the fuel pump from what I gathered and low and behold a couple of lines where missing clamps and the plugin was not clipped in all the way.
