Last Tuesday I bought this 93 Blazer

Brakes need work bad. The battery cables are shot. T boned in the drivers side and about two inches of bondo.

Intentions are to build a cheap but serious off road truck.

Today I bought this 78 K10 mainly for its SM465 and NP205. Added bonus is I can use it's 33s and wheels while I gather parts for a SAS. It's brakes are actually worse than the Blazer.

I also have a 14 bolt full floater sitting up in Ohio with Pat for it. The search for a Dana 60 is proving a little difficult but I'll find a passenger drop one hopefully soon.

Cost

93 Blazer $500
78 K10 $500
14 Bolt FF $100
Battery Cables $58

Total so far $1158

The body is pretty rusty for here but about normal for Ohio. I'll get with you on those parts.

Don't you just hate when someone starts a build thread and never updates it? So ended up buying a k30. Fell in love with it and the Blazer became the redhead step child. Never put the battery cables on but last night I borrowed the battery for the k30. While putting the battery back in I grabbed a piece of free 12 gauge wire and instant body ground. Everything electrical now works. Instead of POS its now not so E36 M3ty. Take some pictures this morning and throw it up on Craigslist at 11am for $800. Phone blows up. So fast I can't keep up. Within 3 hours a guy comes over and haggles me down to $640. Done cause I need the space.
