Hmmmmmm....I thought you had already signed my roof panel.
Maybe a Tshirt that says: "Stampie PWNs my arse." That must be worn at the awards banquet. Or vice versa.

Your choice of words leaves a bit to be desired. How about the shirt you wear says "I got PWNed by Team Stampie yet again" and I'll make a t-shirt that says "C4 rules Q45 drool"
Little bit of progress today. This afternoon Chris text me asking if we removed the inner fender liners. I remembered removing the fronts but he didn't so this evening we inspected her and I was right on the fronts. Upon looking at the rears we failed to remove the liners behind the tires. Just took seconds each to reach in and rip them out. Team Stampie ... removing ounces at a time.

The gauntlet has been thrown...you're on!
PS....Make mine XXL.
In reply to Ovid_and_Flem:
Are you sure you want me to make yours? It might be a little difficult but I think I can fit all that on a XXL size one of these.
Thought the name of the game was to add lightness? Bedliner and paint adds weight and wastes time. Bare metal all the way.
In reply to onemanarmy:
True but the Concours means it has to look good. The bedliner was because it was the most cost and time effective way of hiding the keyed panels. Now that we have more time we're stripping it off and are going to paint it hopefully making it look even better. Might be a budget savings also.
One interesting note is how many people say the bedliner was going to be heavy like they were amazed I'd even consider using it. It couldn't weight more than the can it came in right?

If O&F has to wear this at the banquet, I'll be easy to find in the room. I'll be the one trying to hold down my dinner!

So do I get the briefs to complete the Ensemble also?
Hi Stampie,
Totally off topic but can you email me about the 325i you saw in New Port Richey, FL? I emailed you through the forum but not sure if you'll get it. ndr e w c h o w @ yahoo (take out the spaces)
In reply to Ovid_and_Flem:
I'm not sure that's a punishment. I was planning on wearing some for Concours last year.

What other sort of chaps are there?
We got back on it today. Last we left the Q45 her alternator was letting the magic smoke out. Carol, Lil Stampie, and I towed her over to Chris's and got started. Chris was at work because his work just got power back on yesterday and he was there trying to catch up.
So ... that Q45 alternator is way down on the passenger side. The more I looked at it the more stuff I saw that I wanted to remove. Knowing that Chris wouldn't agree we started in before he got home. He came home past the point of no return and helped finish up removing the evaporator core, half the intake track, radiator fan and it's hydraulic motor, and the cooler for the hydraulic motor. That really cleaned up the space in front of the engine. Chris did stop me before I got rid of the power steering but I think it only delayed the inevitable.
Here's Chris and I discussing the next step.
It's also the same side of us that a certain C4 will see again this year.
All that discussing lead to us coming up with a belt routing that'll let us remove the ac compressor, hydraulic motor pump, and an idler pulley. No one had it locally but we found it on eBay and the kicker is it saves us budget from the serpentine belt we put on last year.
We never did replace the alternator but we got a good day in with plans of trying to hump it enough to still make the Challenge this year.
In reply to Stampie :
Yup....c4 will see ya'll pondering how to get that Qship to run faster than a clapped out barbie mobile. Gonna take more than a deleted hydraulic pump this year <<<Stampie CLP.
What size Tshirt do you wear again?
In reply to singleslammer :
The other day when I saw your Jag buy I had a flashback. Last year at the Challenge upon seeing the turbo in your passenger seat I told Chris and Lil Stampie to watch you guys. Now you're bringing a berking supercharger?

You can cut away all the fiberglass you want but she'll still be watching my fat shiny walk away.
You'll need to log in to post.
