Orange you glad Stampie didn’t say banana?
Nice results. Looks good.

Sorry I wasn't clear on this. Our free paint that we were going to tint was bad so we didn't use it. At that point I said berk it the magazine asked for bolder colors and what's more bold than Valspar's Vibrant Orange. So we used Rust-Oleum metal primer 50/50 with acetone (might do mineral spirits next time) and Valspar's Zero Rust 50/50 mineral spirits for the color.
I think that technically, my comment is still apropos

When spraying paint the best ground cover is water. It holds dust and overspray down. You just have to remember to move slowly and not splash. And to Stampie nice choice you'll have a built-in fan base (Dutch).
That moment you realize you never charged the battery while it was in the paint booth. We're normally only good for a couple of days.

I love orange also but only thing I have in orange is the Q45 and a mid century modern chair. I think I need more orange in my life.
We did our budget this evening. It may change a few dollars either way but came out to $757. I brought up that I have a turbo and most of the parts needed for less than $150 and a week to do it. Chris gave me a dirty look.

Orangegasmic?
Decided to make a list inspired by Robbie but not as intensive.
We were going to handmake new team t-shirts but we just won't have the time.
Seat switch didn't work out.
Build half of the battery box yesterday and finished it this morning. Not pretty but free other than the 18 cents for two bolts and it picks up all three factory bolt holes for the original tray. Last year we only got two.
You could make real money on a car that orange out here in Broncos Country. Paint a couple big dark-blue stripes on it, and you'd be rolling in dough.

It strikes me that drill bits are "budget exempt" and those L-brackets are over-kill as-is?

QFT. For reference my battery tray has 78 holes in it.

While I agree we're in feature freeze right now. It is actually slightly less weight than the factory tray it replaced.
I don't think remember what all we did. Windshield and rear window are in. Headlights and taillights done. All trim done. Car cleaned out and loaded some stuff for the trip. Did some clean up of extra wiring. Tried to do the alignment. Don't know if we were too tired or too stupid but it kicked our ass. This list is down to:
Budget done at $751.36 but there's one thing that we're only going to use part of later this week. We included full price as if now.
Talked to our Suspension Guru last night and after talking with him I decided that we were too tired last night which made us stupid.
We did the alignment and then bleed the brakes again. For some reason the only picture I got from the official picture taker was of two grown men bent over.
I took it for a test drive and only problem was the driver's front brake shield rubbing on the rotor. I dip into the throttle a little and boy do the 23 inch tires make a difference in acceleration.
