Hello, long time lurker here.  After the recent holiday, which involved cleaning out the garage for exercise, I have come to the realization that I have accumulated a lot of "sorda useful" stuff.  You know, the parts you took off during repairs upgrades etc.  Things like control arms with worn out bushings, water pumps with a leak, complete oiling systems for a '63 Nova.

My question is, any good ideas what to do with these things when you are tired of tripping over it?  I hate to just scrap them, but I have come to grips with the fact that I don't need them anymore.  Thanks for the help.

garbage can.  Occasionally you'll kick yourself down the road, but I much prefer the lack of clutter.

+1

Unless you have loads of space overall, quality of life is higher with less clutter.

YMMV

Craigslist/local forums/yardsale. Whatever is left over, recycling or trash.

Most of mine goes to the trash unless I know someone to give it to.

IMO, unless it's a fairly high dollar item, not worth dealing with craigslist for little or no return if you value your time.

I trash the stuff. Won't be able to find what you need when you need it so you'll end up buying a replacement anyway. At least that's what always happens to me. Find it later when I don't need it. That's why I've gotten away from keeping stuff that may be useful in the future.

Give it away in the New years GRM mailing.

Make artwork out of it?

Recycle it.

Trash it.
