Howdy folks, this story starts in 2013 with me (A dumbass 18 year old) and a pretty scruffy 1994 C-package Miata named Red.

Red was the first cool car I owned, and I've loved an NA Miata ever since. I lowered it way too much, it was backed into by teenagers in 1500 dodges on two separate occasions, and had an unfortunate encounter with the rear bumper of a Rav4 under my ownership and was a beat up 200,000 mile car by the time I started having a real commute and just became impractical and unreliable enough that I sold it and I've missed it ever since.

I had neither the money or skills to do it right back then, and now that I have more of both and don't have a Corvette occupying the same general spot as a Miata it's time to revisit.

Enter the 95 M-Edition that has yet to be named. Originally sold in Hawaii and moved around the states with the first owner who kept it 12 years and seemed to love it a lot (and followed by several owners in the south who did not)
It's got a Jackson Racing M45 supercharger, a set of Flyin Miata sway bars, some tokiko shocks and unknown lowering springs, but is otherwise stock.

I've started on some deferred maintenance (fluid changes, clutch hydraulics, belts, and getting rid of goofy led headlights)

and started some of the fun stuff like adding my old Momo master I bought for my first car and never installed and a Miataroadster shifter. I've also got a harddog rollbar on the way and as soon as I get around to cleaning my old wheels I'll get some fresh rubber and mount those up (somehow the only 15" tires I have are either way too big Cooper Cobras or 2015 date code Dunlop DZ102s)
future plans include finding a hardtop, a megasquirt setup, and some type of air to water intercooler setup
Get me a pic of the springs, I might be able to identify them. Given the other suspension parts, there's a good chance they're FM ones.
Be aware that the M45 is already fairly close to its limits running 6 psi on a 1.8. Pushing farther tends to introduce more driveability problems and creates a lot more heat than power.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
I want to say the part number on the front springs started with "FMS" but I'll have to get a picture and the rest of the number.
Yup, not expecting the world from it just a nice little bump from stock and the supercharger whine. The whine is about twice as loud as my CTS-V lol
but it does seem to be missing the piggyback/black box that seems to go with the supercharger kit (and has a lot of empty vampire taps on the ecu wiring) so an aftermarket ecu seems like it would be a good idea
If they're black, have close coils at one end and have a part number FMS they're FM springs of the current generation. That means the suspension dates from between 2006 to when the Tokicos disappeared from the market - maybe 10 years later?
I'd definitely try to find out what you've got for engine management before you let that SC whine too much!
In reply to Keith Tanner :
That is what they look like! Thank you for the info, I'm going to assume closer to 2006 judging from the condition of the shocks.
and managment is now top of priority!
I've been making some small progress on the car, mostly cleaning electrical connectors and grounds, and replacing the fuel pump with a DW100 after it conked out on the interstate.
New sealed beams to get rid of the goofy LEDs that were half burned out.

An NRG quick release since I've always wanted one (and the wheel needed to be spaced out a bit)

New pedal pads
And I've been cleaning up my old wheels from my previous car. From what I've been able to gather they are the stock wheels from a 1991 BRG edition in the UK market. They're stamped MSW and 15x6.5 +35. Dog is not impressed and just wants to chew on the scotchbrite.

And some new tensioner and idler pulleys from Track Dog Racing to get rid of some belt squeal. It's much quieter now but that belt is a little long.

Up next is a timing belt / water pump since I have no record of it being done and ordering the Megasquirt.
Way cool.
Boosted Miatas are among my favorite flavors of fun cars.

Are we really not talking about the world's most regal dog?!? "Yes peasant, I am looking down upon you." I love it.
Who’s a good puppy?
And, yeah, love it as a historic piece. Drive it and enjoy it.
There's something about (tasteful) Miata mods that are just. Satisfying.
In reply to Scotty Con Queso :
I think part of it is simply retaining the Miataness of the car.
In reply to Colin Wood :
It has been a breath of just pure fun compared to the seriousness of all the GM V8 cars I'm usually driving!
In reply to pinchvalve (Forum Supporter) :
Ernest is very regal, and not super impressed by the Miata so far. He prefers the bench seat of the C10 so he can lounge appropriately

In reply to Scotty Con Queso :
It has been great working on it so far, most of the stuff I've been brainstorming about since 2013 coming to fruition.

That is the primary goal with this car, retain the goofy and fun nature while improving it slightly!
Small updates,
Got some tires mounted on my cleaned up wheels and took some beauties with it and the C10 waiting for its fuel pump to be replaced

Dog decided this is the best possible place to lounge in the car

Confirmed the rear suspension matches the front and has the extended tophats!

Had Adam at Revlimiter slightly customize a set of gauge faces for the car

Got the rollbar installed (and discovered the car previously had one, but it must have been a different model because none of the previously drilled holes lined up)

and after reading through Tony Sestito's Trans Am thread (https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/build-projects-and-project-cars/last-member-of-the-silver-fleet-1979-trans-am-ws6/86460/page24/) and seeing the Bitchin Alpine headunits I decided to poke around Ebay for something similar and found this gem.

So far I only have Georgia Sattelites and a Tom Petty greatest hits tapes for it. It's definitely older than the car but way cool. I'm slowly putting together a panel with some switches and a boost gauge to go underneath it, and still have to interior torn apart waiting on a new trunk latch cable (old one was just removed? I assume to add the non-functional power lock system the car had), one of the HVAC plates from Revlimiter and some new not duct-taped together door speakers
