That's a big jump! Almost double from before Indiana(the number was 22 at my place). Gives a different meaning to "it's all downhill from here."
I'd just stop counting. 42 is the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
Due to the recent doubling of the numbers, it must be the number of unsolicited political texts or emails.

Funny enough, it didn't change at all through Kentucky and only one or two through Tennessee. That was all in the Smokey mountains in NC. Folks just aren't in as big a hurry there I guess.
And the altered alignment was a big factor. Especially when the road got curvy. Given you know the answer, I'd say it's a bit surprising having an improvement like that be basically an accident.

I dislike black wheels, but it's really not bad at all.
Free black wheels are the best black wheels?

Must be number of cars passed.
In reply to EvanB (Forum Supporter) :
or semis they've been passed by

I like that way too much
I had to check myself standing by the fire after we called things good enough for the night. I almost asked what the current price is, factoring in that Shaun sold the Q45 and the Mustang has resumed daily duties...and I am not generally a fan of black wheels either. These do fit the character of the car though
I owe Evan a coke.
Yup. Total vehicles passed, including trucks. I started counting in Utah going through the mountains just because I was so surprised we passed anything. That last run was a bit cheaty since we were in the mountains and the trucks weren't allowed in the left lane. One slow truck meant I passed 5 or 6 at a time.
As for selling the mustang. Eventually. I seem to go through a daily a year, but with these mods, maybe it's enough like a new car to get another year? Idk. Not looking to sell right now, and I'd need to find a replacement in a hurry, but maybe. Or maybe a trade.

Will you be at Challenge, sir? If not, it might be fun to send a bottle coke in the mail.

That's cheating!
The next number to count is how many gas stations you have to rifle through until you find a "Share a Coke with Evan" bottle!

As long as you transport it in your BUTT.

While the longest part of the journey would be in the Miata, I'd put it in my BUTT to get it from my shop to Scott's Bottom for you.
Relevant to earlier conversations
i keep looking at it thinking this would be perfect with the 2.5 Duratec/5spd. that's a 70hp NA bump in stock form.

Yeah, I guess the moral of the story is I should just stick to ford 4 bangers. This thread started with a story about a focus, and now two years later we're back with a Lima powered mustang.
Duratec swapped mustang! Oh man. That would be the absolute best.
If I ever want to get more power in this car, I'd be looking at fuel injection and a turbo, but I bet for the same cost and effort, I could find a focus and just rip the duratec out of that. Focii are easier and cheaper around me than finding an xr4ti as a donor for the turbo Lima. Either keep the 4 speed or find a ranger 5 speed or something.
The fact that the duratec 4 is one of my all time favorite engines hasn't made me think about it at all over the last week. Especially while driving out east with no radio.
Onward! South! To cheap hack Mecca! To the Fabled Challenge!
Gainesville, watch out.
Landed. Pretty wiped out.
Florida is sweaty.

also congratulations, making it is what 99.925% of the readers have never done
Yeah, Florida is instant swamp ass when you walk outside. All 365 days of the year.
And a little work later:
a racecar appears.
The wheels were right all along, they just needed some sanding to really shine. Thanks Dead_sled!
