repeated the same numbers this morning. 48.3 for the trip. OA for this tank is now 38.7. LAst night we went out for our wedding anniversary (21 years!) and I had E36 M3 traffic and it was down to 38.2, 36 for the trip to the rest and then DQ and home
Took this critter to Florida, loaded with us, dogs, cages etc.
Car did exceptionally well. Even with the air catcher up top we averaged 31mpg. We did have one tank where I think it had E85 mixed in. Filled up, and it went from 410 miles of range to 308 before we could leave the parking lot. I'm guessing the Ethanol sensor was picking up the content and knew we were in for a ride. Got 23mpg and the car had absolutely ZERO power to hold speeds on minor hills. Filled up at the southern Georgia Buccees and that went right back to 31 and had all the power back.
Rides great, drives like a car and gets good fuel economy. Can't ask for much more to be honest. Wife still loves it so that's a bonus. Turned over 17k mikes on the way home Monday.
