Nice build, this is really cool and for most of us, all the truck we really need unless you tow a big trailer.
I agree that one build on a Charger would be much more capable of towing and load capacity.
These "utes" remind me of my trip to Australia, where there are factory Utes everywhere

idparts.com sells lift spacers for the front struts. It generally levels them out with the rear, depending on the car. If budget allows, Ground Control can put together a coil-over kit that raises the car a bit for better geometry (it's not really on the site - you'll need to call them for it; it was developed by an autocrosser to custom specs a number of years ago). Oddly enough, lowering the Mk IV tends to make the handling worse.
Yes, that's the route I plan to take - or make my own. The rear already sits a bit higher than stock due to 200lbs less weight back there. I might add air springs to raise and stiffen it based on the load, but normally I'll run basically empty.
