Just thought I'd share a few pics of my ride; long time lurker non-poster normally but here goes. The whole car is gutted, everything that makes you comfortable has been removed, and it rides like a skateboard. Fully caged, 2-way Bilstein coilovers and all hard suspension points, mild motor mods, custom wide body, front splitter, rear wing, fuel cell, fire system, all that. I've been running autocrosses, track days, and more recently hill climbs but it looks like I'm finally going into SCCA club racing this year, running in STU. The car started in full street trim and developed along with my thirst for motorsports over about 5 years. There really isn't anything left to do other than build out the motor to race specs at this point.

Love it!

I had a '93 SLC (Jason Saini's old car) for a couple years, before he bought it back from me. I really liked the car & miss it, but also fell I got away really lucky as the only repair it needed was a new TPS during that time.

Hot. I love the motor in that thing. I had a '96 GTI and the VR6 was the best thing about it. With the weight reduction, that must be a hoot to drive.

Loving it! One of the few older water cooled vw's I haven't owned at this point.

That is one amazing looking 'raddo! I had a 92 SLC for a little over a year and absolutely loved it! Obviously someone else did as well, which is why they stole it...

That thing is sweet! I run a caged 91 GTI with a VR6 Turbo in the New England Hillclimb Series.

awesome to see a Corrado getting TLC and track time!

Where did you get the RC body in the one picture? I do rc as a winter fix for racing and would love to run that body!

Nice! I saw you compete at The Chasing the Dragon Hillclimb (I was working timing). Car sounded great, one of my favorites of the weekend. Good Luck!!
