Hello everybody. If you ever been curious about waste vegetable as a fuel this would be a low-cost way to get your feet wet (with oil).  Plenty of info in the clist link here: https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/d/braddock-2000-volkswagen-golf-tdi/6833519334.html

Car runs and drives but is old, has a bunch of miles, and is a little raggedy. I will emphasize that only pristine waste oil has been used in this thing for the last 9-10 years. I just put a new filter on the WVO side for the first time in (we estimate) six years. Last trip we took it on was from Pittsburgh up to the Lake Placid area in December and we had no problems. One thing I should have mentioned in the ad is that between the two tanks this car has something like 20 gallons of fuel capacity; 800 miles of range.

I put 100K miles on a 300D running WVO. When done right, it actually extends the life of the engine.

Curious, how are you filtering and drying it?

Btw, you should be getting WAY more than 800 miles. My 99 TDI Golf did 740 just on a tank if diesel.

That being said , GLWS
