Be simple enough to fix that. Just get another Crown Vic frame.
I don't know if that body could be titled as a newish Crown Vic, despite the frame. But my 48, on a modern chassis, is simply titled as a "1948 special constitution ".
The guy that built that did so in SC. He didn't describe the whole processs, but it didn't seem to be a big deal.
I'm sure there is an Id number on that body somewhere... shouldn't be hard from there. Most states.
I'm going to find out how hard it actually is in practice with the Autobianchi. My 1954 Willy's is an assigned vin and it wasn't hard just tedious.
It's simply so much easier in not Georgia, Maine, or VT if the car has a title. Nearly everyone talks about how easy it is then proceeds to sell the vehicle at >$500 undervalue without a title despite being "easy".
In IL I know if you do bonded title you can't really sell it for a few years. Which at least makes not doing it make some sense.
With the generalization of nearly everyone, and $500, not sure if your talking about all cars, older or newer
$500 difference would not come close to covering the current trend in ads for newer cars!
since this one is a '52, it fits in with the older cars I was referring to. And I'm not in GA, VT or Maine.
